Auckland Regional Online Hui - Auckland Council’s Local Recovery Plan

The Local Recovery Team at Auckland Council have come together to share and discuss the whānau-centred supports and community-led local recovery initiatives underway for those impacted by the 2023 extreme weather events.  Learn what considerations and opportunities are available in your local communities for disabled people/whanau and Providers who have been affected by the extreme weather events. Also, how disabled people/whanau may want to become involved in local recovery initiatives.

Manu Joyce - Navigation Service Manager: will share theirpurpose, who they work with, who is in their team, and how referrals work

Tilly Redstone - Local Recovery Planning Lead: will share about locally recovery planning in priority communities, impacted communities and in partnership with mana whenua 

Katie Watson - Wellbeing Lead: will share the seven focus areas of the Wellbeing Recovery Plan for Tāmaki Makaurau

There will be opportunities for questions and discussion.
