This one day workshop has been created for those who are interested in supporting others to become active and contributing members of their communities and society at large. If you are interested in rolling up your sleeves and getting down to action, this event is for you.

Do you want people who use services to have positive control over their lives? If people are to have self-directed lives within their communities, then those people who support them on a daily basis need to have person-centred thinking skills. Presenters from Helen Sanderson Associates and Tautoko Support Services will deliver this internationally recognised training. The workshop is open to anyone in the sector wishing to learn about person-centred practices.

An invitation to service providers in the mid-central region to attend an introductory meeting. This one hour meeting will be hosted by members of the Co-Design Group

The NZDSN Annual General Meeting will now be held as a zoom meeting Thursday September 23rd 10.30-12.30pm

Recently the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) released a proposed draft design guide for providers to determine fire safety requirements in community residential housing. The draft design guide is available on the MBIE website (click here). The submission deadline is September 11th.

Following on from our meeting in June with Garth Bennie from NZDSN. You are invited to attend this meeting to look at establishing a regular disability provider network for Nelson Marlborough.

Throughout 2018 Tautoko Support Services has been moving through a process of transformational change as we co-create a self-managing approach with the people we support through our Options service.
